I have found a great little pattern for baby booties, it takes me 2 hours to make a pair.  They are fun to make and they look so cute and no for all of those that know me no one in the family has any surprising news in this regards.  I just wanted to try something different.

Hello Everyone Here is another pattern for your enjoyment (the model in this picture is my oldest daughter).

You will need one ball of Softie Chunky 100g
A 6mm Hook

Chain 84. Join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1 - *Ch 5, skip next 5 ch, sc in next ch; rep from* around, end with sc in sl st - 14 ch 5 lps.
Rnd 2 - *Ch 5, skip next ch-5 lp, sc in next sc; rep from* around - 14 ch-5 lps.
Rnd 3 - *Ch 7, skip next ch-5 lp, sc in next sc; rep from* around - 14 ch-7 lps.
Rnd 4 - *Ch 7, skip ch-7 lp, sc in next sc, rep from* around - 14 ch-7 lps.
Rnd 5 - Ch 2, *sc into space 2 rnds below next ch-7 lp, ch 5; rep from* around, end with ch 2, dc in last sc - 13 ch-5 lps.
Rnd 6 - Ch 2, skip next ch-2 space, sc in next sc, *ch 5, skip next ch-5 lp, sc in next sc; rep from* around, end with ch 2, sc in dc - 13 ch-5 lps.
Rnd 7 - Ch 3, skip next ch-2 spce, sc in next sc, *ch 7, skip next ch-5 lp, sc in next sc; rep from* around, end with ch3, skip next ch-2 space, dc in last sc - 13 ch-7 lps.
Rnd 8 - Ch3, skip next ch-3 lp, sc in next sc, *ch 7, skip next ch-7lp, sc in next sc; rep from* around, end with ch3, skip next ch-3 lp, sc in last sc - 13 ch-7 lps.
Rnd 9 - Ch 5, skip next ch-3 lp and sc into next sc, sc into space 2 rnds below next ch-7 lp, *ch5, sc into space 2 rnds below next ch-7 lp; rep from* around, end with sc in last sc - 14 ch-5 lps.
Rep rnds 2-9 two more times. Then rep rnd 2 once. Fasten Off.

If you wish to have a larger cowl you can repeat rnds 2-9 once more.

This takes approx. 2 hours to make so if you need a quick gift this is great.
