SPECIALIZING IN CROCHET AND BEADING

On this website, I will be posting pictures of my work and from time to time I will share some free patterns and tips with you.

A little bit about the author:

Hi my name is Kim and as you will see by my blog that I enjoy crafting very much, I have the liberty of working part-time at a craft store so my ideas are always refreshed.

My most enjoyable crafts are crochet and beading right now, so keep checking back to see what new things I have created.
If at anytime you are interested in purchasing one of my creations please email me and I will provide you with the costs. I do have a registered long time paypal account so all transactions are secure.

I teach crochet to those who wish to learn at a cost of $15.00/hr, I can do this either in person if you live in the GVRD area or by video phone, payment for classes accepted through paypal.com

Fingerless Gloves Pattern

This is one the simpliest patterns I have made yet.

Using a worsted weight yarn (I used Patons Canadiana)
and a 4.00 mm hook.  This is how its done:

chain 35
1st row: single crochet (34 sc in all)
2nd- 30 row: single crochet in the back loop only
to finish fold rectangle in half and single crochet edges together for 17 stiches, fasten off, skip 7 sc, finish single crocheting the seams together till the end fasten off.  Sew in ends turn glove inside out and its ready to wear.  Repeat for 2nd glove.

You will have a finished pair of gloves in an hour (2 hours if you take your time)

The nice thing about this pattern is it is great as a unisex pattern, just change to the desired color of yarn for male or female.
